Event Venue
207 North Rocky Cliff Trail
Franktown, Colorado 80116-9107
Located 12 miles East of Castle Rock, this quiet area near Castlewood Canyon State Park is a one-hour drive from the Denver (DEN) and Colorado Springs (COS) airports.
From Castle Rock, head East on Colorado Highway 86. Continue 10 miles, then turn left onto Rocky Cliff Trail. The venue will be at the third driveway on the left. There will be plenty of parking, you could say it’s ample, day or night. Follow the balloons!
Since there is a bit of a drive to arrive, we ask that you arrange a designated driver in your carpool if you plan to drink.
Weather
The event will be held outdoors, so dress comfortably for quickly-changing weather. Autumn in Colorado is our favorite time, with gentle breezes and sunny skies. Sometimes there are gusts of wind that come out of nowhere before going right back there and a peek-a-boo sun that will leave you alternately chilly and toasty.
There will be a warmly lit tent, space heaters, a fire pit, and some blankets to share if you find yourself wanting one.
Wear what makes YOU feel BEAUTIFUL
If you’re looking for a dress code, the range is between dressy casual and festive attire.
The celebration will take place outdoors, with a mix of terrain and the possibility of Mother Nature joining the party. So think stylish and sensible— bring layers, comfy shoes, and your best all-weather wedding vibes. 💃🌿☀️
I will be wearing a traditional áo dài (pronounced ow? yai), which is typically worn at special events like tết (Lunar New Year) and tiệc cưới (weddings). Wearing the áo dài is a way for me to honor my heritage and bring a bit of Vietnamese tradition into the big day. I'm excited to share this piece of culture with you!
If you have an áo dài please wear it! It's a fun, beautiful way to celebrate together and embrace tradition. Red, blue, gold & white solid colors are usually reserved for the bride and groom, but any other color or design is welcomed!

p.s. that’s my Mẹ (mom) in the red áo dài cưới.
p.p.s. If you choose to buy an áo dài please support Viet tailors to get a beautiful, authentic garment.
